42 Robot Ideas to Move Forward
42 European companies have just won access to Europe's brightest robot experts, who will help the companies move their robotics idea forward over the coming months.
A total of 100 companies spread across nine European countries applied for a "voucher" entitling them to assistance from the European robotic technology transfer network ROBOTT-NET.
All types of companies including start-ups, SMEs, large companies and institutions are able to apply for a "voucher" and now the winners of the first round have been found.
42 ideas were selected. These 42 companies will now get help to develop their robotic solutions from robot experts across Europe.
- We look forward to collaborate and share knowledge with our European partners and to assist in developing robotic solutions and improve the business case of these companies. The winning vouchers represents very diverse challenges and each of them has been delegated to the ROBOTT-NET partner which best matches the skillset required, says Jacob Kortbek, a project leader from the ROBOTT-NET team.
The candidates went through a selection process in which their applications were evaluated by the Danish Technological Institute (DTI), Fraunhofer IPA, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) and Tecnalia.
It's not too late
There is still time to become a part of ROBOTT-NET and obtain the help of some of the best robotics experts in Europe.
The second and final voucher application round is now open with a deadline on Sunday December 14th 2016. Those selected from this second voucher round will be announced on 15th February 2017.
From the set of winning vouchers, eight companies will be selected for further assistance and funding toward a pilot project.
